Had three episodes of pyschosis since 2016. Diagnosed with Acute Transient Psychotic Disorder in 2021 and every time the delusions seem to get worse/more potent if that makes sense. The lack of support after being released from hospital is something I've struggled with as some of things i believed and the aggressive nature of the pyschosis was hard to come to terms with. Nothing scarier than losing your own sanity. Praying for those of us that are affected by this strange disorder and anyone who may know somebody currently struggling. Try not to confuse them if they say something strange, they probably need to work through it themselves.

I just wanted to comment that the narrator's speech is not quite fluid with quite a few stops and stutters and filler words which can make it a little difficult to follow along as he's teaching, and I know that it's normal for natural speech but as this is a lecture it's not very convenient. Other than that thank you ❤❤❤

Treatment requires a two phase approach: Metronidazole is used to kill the adult phase; the Trophozoites However the cysts are unaffected by this antibiotic So a luminal agent like Paromomycin (Humatin) must be used to clear the babies or the cysts
